Alphabeast: A Book of Poems

Type Hike's Alphabeast series of designs (2017) paid tribute to the great beasts of our nation who are painfully close to extinction. To continue the work of protecting these incredible animals in 2019, Type Hike asked for my help in curating a group of the country’s greatest writers to respond to the designs with poetry.

Alphabeast: A Book of Poems featured each of the 26 poems alongside the design that inspired it – a tribute to our animal friends and the enduring spirit of human generosity. Proceeds went to Defenders of Wildlife. Thank you to David Rygiol and James Walker (both geniuses) for this incredible opportunity.
